Daily Tanya for 6th of Tevet

Now the rebbe explains that also things which aren't bad, just they aren't for the sake of g-d, are not holy and they are called 'the other side' which isn't holy. Because the holy things down in our world are a ray of light from the holiness of g-d, and g-d rest on them. But g-d only rests upon someone who doesn’t consider himself in front of him (g-d), like an angel, or even a Jew, that every Jew has the ability to not consider himself in front of g-d, for example in a case that someone threatens his life if he doesn’t worship other idols, the Jew in whatever level he is on, will give up his life and not rebel against g-d, that proofs that he doesn’t consider himself in front of g-d, because he shows that g-d is more important than him. But something which consider itself as an existence in front g-d, g-d doesn't rest upon him, rather it gets its life from g-d through a lot of covers till g-d's light which gives it life isn't seen, but the light is still there so it shouldn't go back to be nothing as before its creation.
