Lag B'Omer

Lag B'Omer suggested Psalms verse: "You'll find my eyes and I'll see your wonderful Torah". That means: Tell me the wonders of the Torah.
How this verse related to Lag B'Omer?

Lag B'Omer is the day of death of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. As we know, before Rabbi Shimon past away, he gathered all the disciples and found them secrets of the Torah, which is not revealed to them all his life. Secrets he had discovered a very special, and his concern to discover them. After he discovered the secrets to his disciples is known to all Jewish people.

Every year on Lag B'Omer wake discovery was the first time on Lag B'Omer - the discovery of the Torah internal.

You'll find my eyes - discovery of the Torah internal to see the wonder in the Torah. Therefore, we should rejoice on this day even though it's just the day of death of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. Seemingly, the day of death is a sad day. But here we are happy, why?

Because along with the death of the righteous showed us secrets of the Torah. Rabbi Shimon for his life could not reveal these secrets that did not give him permission from the heaven. Only on his death he was allowed to reveal these secrets.

Rabbi Shimon himself commanded to rejoice on this day. Known story about a disciple of the Haari (Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzhaq Luria) was saying "Tachnun" on Lag B'Omer. Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai irritated on him, the student's son died. The student comes to his rabbi and asked him: "Why my son died?" Haari (Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzhaq Luria) told him it was irritation of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai because he said "Tachnun" on Lag B'Omer - His Happy Day.

We learn that, how important it is to rejoice on this day. This day is also a merit day, so on this day with joy and prayer we will ask for immediately right of redemption.
