And these three 'garments' are even higher than the soul itself since they cause it to do G-ds will. Now the rebbe asks a question: it says in Zohar that G-d and the Torah are one thing since the Torah is G-ds wisdom and G-d is one with his wisdom. If so how can we understand the Torah but we cannot understand G-d himself? The answer is: really G-d is unlimited and he is higher than everything, but G-d 'minimized himself' so to speak into the Torah and brought the Torah down to the world to the extent that everyone can understand the Torah. But really G-d is even higher than wisdom because he is unlimited. It is very hard to understand this: how can you limit something unlimited? The unlimited stays unlimited? But since G-d is unlimited he can do unlimited things that one cannot understand.
