The difference between a student and a son, is that a father puts his essence into his son therefore the son can looks like him. However, a teacher only gives wisdom to his student. Therefore, angles are called the students of G-d and they cannot grasp G-d, yet we are called his sons and we can do the Mitzvot in physical action.
