Doing a Mitzva has a greater advantage over learning Torah. This is because while learning is with the brain and the brain cannot grasp G-d.

But by doing Mitzvot, since there is no brain involved in them, rather, when one does a Mitzvah he is like a servant serving his master without involving his own thoughts with his actions. Therefore, when doing Mitzvot one is actually grasping Hashem.
