Therefore we say that improper prayer, is better than improper learning. Because improper pray can possibly go up however improper learning doesn't. 

Because when one does not pray as he should, his prayers go up somewhat, just in heaven it gets pushed back down until he prays as he should.

However, if he learns Torah with the wrong intention, as to be respected, his Torah does not go up to heaven at all.
