The Wedding of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson with righteous Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka the Previous the Rebbe's daughter.

The diary of one of the boys:
The good news the Rebbe daughter's wedding Mrs. Chaya Mushka with Rebbe was to take place in Warsaw, has caused great joy and great excitement among the Polish Jews in general and between Lubavitchers and innocent (boys) in particular, the Previous Rebbe who lived at the time in Riga, Latvia wanted the wedding takes place at the Yeshiva "Tomchei Tmimim".

Thirteenth day of Kislev thousands gathered at the train station to welcome the Previous Rebbe and his family. During the day many Hasidim gathered from all the cities of Poland and Lithuania. Many visitors also came from distant places, including in-law of the Previous Rebbe, Rabbi Avraham Schneerson from Kishinev.

At eight o'clock there was a "dinner to the groom" for students of Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim. The rebbe, groom, all in-laws and many Hasidim came to dinner. Middle of the dinner the Rebbe said "Chasidishe Talk" (Maamar) "and all your sons are learning G-d." After the dinner, which lasted until after midnight; the Previous Rebbe wanted to dance with the innocent (the guys), the big yeshiva students. The guys did a great circle, and inside the circle for the Previous Rebbe danced for a long time.

The next day, fourteenth day of Kislev at five o'clock began "Kabbalat Panim" (the groom say a Chasidishe talk) at the yeshiva. Special guards were doorways of the yeshiva, which has given permission to enter only for ticket holders. Thousands thronged the doors and ask to enter, but the place was too small for the thousands. In the great hall stood a large table, his head was the groom, the Rebbe, Rabbi Avraham Schneerson. Both sides of the table were important guests, Hasidic leaders, rabbis and heads of a crowd from all over Poland.

Silence reigned in the hall as the Previous Rebbe began to say:
- Well-known that when the joy of marriage are the souls of the fathers from the "World of Truth", up to three generations, so is every home in Israel. But there are times that souls of the fathers are more than three generations. And as an invitation for the souls of the righteous Lord our holy of our forefathers who came to the wedding to congratulate the couple, We are say Chasidic part of which is Alter Rebbe, some of the middle Rebbe, some of grandfather from my father (the Rebbe the Tzemach Tzedek), some of grandfather - father of the bride's grandfather (Rebbe Hmhar"s), some of the grandfather of the groom's grandfather (the Rebbe Rashab), some of my father - grandfather of the bride, (Rebbe Mohars"b), who says rumor behalf of those who said it will see such a rumor standing in front of him - and began to chant the Maamar (chasidic takl) started to words: "Come my uncle for the bride".

After the Maamar, the Previous Rebbe and groom went to a special room and stayed there for a while. Then led the groom to cover the bride's face by the groom, and then they all went to the canopy that was in the yeshiva's courtyard. Over five thousand people thronged the courtyard.

The best- men were the Previous Rebbe and his wife, Rebbetzin Nechama Dina, and uncle of the Previous Rebbe R 'Moshe Hornstein and his wife, Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Rebbe Maharash's daughter (the previous Rebbe's aunt.

While leading the bride and groom to the wedding canopy, the Previous Rebbe ordered to play the tune "4 Babot" (4 parts) of the Alter Rebbe, the Rebbe himself was playing the melody tremendous stickiness. Arranges marriage was the rebbe himself. The "Seven Blessings" The Rebbe said a wonderful and tremendous stickiness, and the whole crowd was astonished at the spectacular.

The wedding feast was held in one of the great halls of Warsaw. The Previous Rebbe turned the tables and gave himself "a drink" (some vodka to make a toast) to all participants at the wedding. When he reached the innocent students told them talk, and after talk he danced with yeshiva managers and supervisors.

After he finished dancing, the Previous Rebbe was sitting in his place and said the "Maamr" starting the word "Who created joy and gladness." Saying the Maamar continued until after midnight, and then the guests were washing their hand for the meal. In the middle of the meal the rebbe ordered to give a gift to all participants, photo of holy manuscript of the Alter Rebbe, along with handwritten explanations of the Previous Rebbe.

Great joy, singing, chanting and dancing of the wedding lasted until morning, just at seven in the morning celebrants dispersed to their homes. Such a wonderful wedding Poland has ever seen.

Far away, in Dnipropetrovsk (Yekaterinoslav), celebrated the wedding of the Rebbe, his parents 'R' Levi Yitzchak and Rebbetzin Chana, being unable to to attend at the wedding, held a dinner in their home, which took part in many of the Jews of Yekaterinoslav.
