On Sunday July, 5, 2015 will be fast of seventeenth of Tammuz in the Jewish calendar.    On seventeenth of Tammuz 5 sad event occurred in Jewish history:
  • Split the walls of Jerusalem and the Roman enemy entered it.

  • Stop sacrificing the persisted sacrifice in the temple, due to missing animals.
  • Statue was placed in the Temple.
  • Roman General Afustmos burned a Torah, an act which constituted a burning Torah scrolls.
Due to these events, and essentially splitting the walls of Jerusalem that are the beginning of the destruction was set a day of fasting and sadness for all generations, that will come speedily and in our Savior.

Jerusalem and the Temple was destroyed because of baseless hatred among Israel was the Second Temple period.

The Talmud tells us: one rich man great value dinner at home, dinner was attended by all dignitaries and scholars of Jerusalem. On the way, Bar Kamtza wound the lamb and made ​​a blemish, to be disqualified sacrifice. When he arrived to Jerusalem he brought the lamb and the letter to the priests. Priests, seeing the disqualified lamb and darkened their eyes, they cannot sacrifice and sacrifice on the altar.

The rumor came to the emperor that the Jews did not sacrifice the sacrifice,  he got angry on the Jews rebelled against him and sent Titus & large army to conquer Jerusalem and burned the Temple ...
