Daily Tanya for 10th of Tevet

In the above we explained how to fix ones bad deeds, now we explain that there is another type of sin that the way to fix it is different: if one, G-d forbid, lets out semen wastefully without a women, even though the light fell into the 2nd level which is totally bad, and he adds more bad spirits than if he does it with another women but his wife, still the way to fix it is easier than if he does it with another women. The way to fix it is trough regretting the sin and taking upon himself not to do any bad, and through intense concentration when reciting Shema at bedtime (the mitzvah of reciting Shema is twice a day 1. At night 2. In the morning), which this concentration 'kills' all bad spirits that were created in the bad trough this sin, and the light which fell into the bad goes up to holiness. And that's why this sin is not mentioned in the Torah among all forbidden intercourses even though it adds more bad, because by forbidden intercourses, even though they do not add as much bad in quantity, they add more in quality, to the extent that he cannot fix it unless he repents out of such a great thirst and love to G-d, till his bad deeds turn into good.

The old rebbe explains why it's harder to fix forbidden intercourses: since the semen was accepted in a women, so also the holy light in it fell into a level of bad which accepts more and since it is stuck somewhere, it is harder to get it out. Only through serving G-d a true love he could get it out of the bad, to the extent that it's totally erased and no trace remains and it transforms into a merit. But all the above is only in a case that nothing was born out of this forbidden intercourse, but if a child was born out of this forbidden intercourse he will not be able to totally fix it even with the greatest love, since the light came into a physical body and there is something remaining from that forbidden intercourse. Only G-d could help in this case. Therefore he should never give up and he should continue serving G-d out of this great love. And as there are a few stories in these cases that because of the persons great regret G-d erased the sin trough the death of the child, in such a case there is no remaining trace from the sin.
