Now the Old Rebbe explains about the hidden love: Our forefathers did everything G-d wanted, and didn't have any will of their own. Rather, G-d's will was their will, and they passed that to us. Even the biggest sinner has a little bit of this love which causes him to give up his life for G-d. In a case when someone forces him to bow down to an idol, he won't do it and he can't explain. It's not his will, but he doesn't understand it. The Old Rebbe explains that it's because that even a sinner who gets his life from the lowest level, actually gets his life from the highest level. This is because every level gets his life from the level above his. So even a sinner gets life from the highest level.
