Rosh Hashana - judgement day

On Rosh Hashanah, we ask from G-d writing a good signature, a sweet new year. What right do we ask this, when our actions over the past year may not have been properly? Although we come to Rosh Hashana after awakening of repentance during the month of Elul, Selichot days, and - this could be repentance is not complete.

To do this we seek to arouse the deepest point of contact between the people of Israel to G-d, which is up from where our actions can hurt. That's what we say on Rosh Hashanah, before blow the shofar: "G-d chose us in our homestead, the pride of Jacob who loved to forgive."

No reasons for arguments to choose from, because if there is a reason for preferring one than the other, there is no choice really. Only two things are equal in the eyes of the voter could perfectly be a real choice.

How, then, we ask that G-d will choose the people of Israel, and there's no comparison at all the relationship between G-d and the people of Israel, to his connection with the nations of the world? Ostensibly, this is not a choice, for obvious G-d wants Israel, studying the Torah and fulfills the commandments. What is there to choose?

But the connection between the people of Israel to G-d, Torah-related, only comes a point where human actions take place. But there is a point where the acts of creatures do not take up a place at all. This rank was told: "the darkness - light, that darkness and light are equaled there all. God says this level: "But Brother Esau and Jacob" - both supposedly equal.

And this is our request that at the upper level, where there is no "reasons" for preferring other nations from Israel - "choose the pride of Jacob ...." We ask that G-d will choose us, although there is no reason on grounds that choice. Anyway of course, that disadvantage was at work last year does not affect the re-election of G-d the people of Israel.
If so, what is needed in the work of repentance of the month of Elul, and here the choice of God the people of Israel does not depend on our actions at all of our degree? The answer is, although the selection itself is not dependent on our actions, but to this choice is visible and not hidden, you have to remove the concealing things, and do by repentance.

Now we understood the words of the sages before Rosh Hashana, Israel is already confident of triumph law: "white wrap us wearing white ... By, G-d makes them miracles."  Where we have this security, we will rightly? But Rosh Hashanah is revealed G-d's choice people of Israel, above all accounts, and does not depend on our actions. We do not need to create something new, just remove the unknown and find out the current selection. Therefore we are sure we will write a good signing a sweet New Year, children, healthy life and livelihood with dignity.
