The verse, "and sat Jacob" our Sages say: "asked Jacob to sit calmly, jumped Joseph's anger. G-d says, not enough righteous what is prepared for them the next world, but, they want to settle peacefully in this world?

Would seem that Jacob's request was to sit calmly undesirable thing, and even punished for it - "jumped Joseph's anger." But you cannot interpret it that way, since Jacob was one of three fathers, who were idle G-d in nature until they are considered the 'Chariot' top. Jacob is elite fathers. From Jacob's quest "to settle peacefully" search was not comfortable and calm in the simple sense, but it was part of his serving G-d.

Jacob sought to have the peace of the future, which will be shown during redemption. He believed that by working in Lavan's house, he took the holy sparks that fell down; it is possible that we may find peace in her future. But God said, this peace cannot yet shine in this world - unless Jacob wills "Joseph's anger."

It will be understood that it was the introduction annotation that Jacob wanted the peace of the future and not Abraham or Isaac. This is because the spiritual work of Abraham and Isaac worked mainly upper spiritual worlds, so it was clear to them that this world cannot be a discovery tool for future peace. But Jacob, dealing with 'middle line', connecting the top and bottom – he had ambition to discover in the world serenity of the future.

That is why Jacob went from Israel to Charan, and came into contact with Lavan and everything he represents. This decline was to rise, to find the sparks of holiness fell down, and to connect the underworld with the Holy G-d. Therefore, "asked Jacob to sit calmly," because he believed that the world has been trained to receive such a revelation.

G-d said to Jacob: Jacob's still falling down did not reach the lowest ranks. After all, even when he was at Lavan, Lavan had no control over (and Lavan asked: "Tell me what is your salary", "name the reward," etc.), as Esau did not controlled him. But to get to the future peace it is necessary to go down to the bottom, a point which the Jewish controlled by the world, and yet overcome.

This matter was achieved by "Joseph's anger." Joseph "Download to Egypt", was a slave to Potiphar, was thrown into jail, and when he become King's Deputy, was subject to the Pharaoh. So drop down below was created, and these lower points turned out sparks of holiness.

Therefore, by the decline of Joseph to Egypt, Jacob was desired and peace - "Long live Jacob" means: seventeen years that Jacob was in Egypt were years of peace and landed, like a future of peace.
